Since moving to Halifax this September I’ve been so eager to try some of the yummiest restaurants – on a student budget – hahaha. Nonetheless, my weakness for lattes often prevails over common sense. I’d been hearing about Two if By Sea and their massive croissants for a while now, and a girl can only hold out for so long. The Dartmouth location has such a hip local vibe with loads of natural light, and was the perfect spot for a study break.

I indulged in a chai latte and an almond croissant. The latte was sweet and spicy with a generous dose of cinnamon to complete the latte art. The croissant was fantastic, seriously, I’m still dreaming about it. The first bite is so rich and buttery. I could only eat half in one sitting, it was that decadent.

A mug of comfort.

I tried both the Dartmouth and Waterfront Locations, and while the pastries and drinks are equally yummy, if you want a place to sit opt for Dartmouth, or take a walk on the Waterfront.  Unfortunately from my arteries I know I won’t be able to stay away.

I love the solid wood furniture and poster art.
